Sign standards differ slightly depending on what zoning district a property is located within. A property's zoning district classification is identified on the Official Zoning Map (PDF). The sign standards for all zoning districts can be found in this excerpt from (PDF) Article 5 of the Unified Development Ordinance. The following are sign standards for each of the individual zoning districts established in the Unified Development Ordinance:

• PK - Parks and Open Space
• AG - Agriculture
• AR - Agriculture/Rural Residential
• R1 - Single-Family Residential
• R2 - Two-Family Residential
• RM - Multi-Family Residential
• MP - Manufactured Home Park
• IS - Institutional
• BN - Business Neighborhood
• BC - Business Central
• BG - Business General
• BH - Business Highway
• IL - Light Industrial
• IG - General Industrial
• HI - High Impact
